Fundraiser - Pre-Loved Women's Clothing Sale
Hosted by Karunai Illam Trust
Our pre-loved clothing sales have been such a hit, we are taking it to Lower Hutt for the first time!
Saturday 27th Sept Knox Church Hall. 9.30am -3.00pm
Not only are you doing your bit for the environment by not sending clothes to the landfill, but the funds raised go towards making a real difference in the lives of the children at the Illam. Come along to the sale and pick up some great bargains- it's a win-win-win situation!
Please share with your networks based in Lower Hutt and Wellington.
Check out our website for more information about the charity.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
