Easter greeting from the edge of the world

its a rainy day where i live
its easter monday too
nuthin much to talk about
nuthin much to do.

its midnight in the holy land
its dark and hot as hell
some say the lord has risen
its very hard to tell.

i hear some folk in ecstasy
think the end is almost nigh
and some who live in gaza
fear death bombs from the sky.

its raining hard where i live
i see horsemen riding by
four of them are counted
apocalypse i cry.

21 Nov 15:50 house fire West Bank Rd, help Motueka fire, Fire in roof space.

25 Nov 06:48 two rubbish fire off Westdale Rd, Controlled, left with owner short crewed
25 Nov 07:31 rubbish fire off Aranui on beach frontage, Controlled, left with owner
26 Nov 14:13 Alarm activation, Old Coach Rd, no sign of fire, left with owners.
May have been set off with cooking.
5 Dec 19:42 Slash pile reignite, Tasman Rural open pile and cool down. Short crewed
06 Dec 12:23 medical Les Wakefield Dr, stood down at station. Short crewed
06 Dec 15:57 Car V motor bike, Tasman. Motueka rescue in attended,
06 Dec 18:34 large bonfire Westdale rd, owners’ advice by Appleby fire to wet fire down a bit.
12 Dec 12:35 smouldering beach fire at Pine hill reserve, Put fire out.
Not properly put out by users, night before?
