International Yoga Retreats in Bali and Japan

Julie from Julie Stephens Yoga

The Journey…
Since I can remember I’ve always loved and seeked the adventure and exploration of travelling the world. Immersing myself in different cultures, connecting to people and trusting in the process.
The excitement of not knowing how each day is going to unfold and being free to just go with the flow, is pure magic!

This image says it all.
*Connection
*Yoga
*Exotic locations
*Freedom to have fun, laugh, explore, have great adventures and make lifelong friends along the way - perfect.
Two retreats in two different locations…www.juliestephensyoga.co.nz...
This year we have our Bali retreat, which is just around the corner.

Then we have our Japanese retreat which will be in a Buddhist temple up in the mountains, at one of Japan’s most spiritual locations - Mt Koyasan, a World Heritage UNESCO site.
This opportunity is rare, as it is very difficult for foreigners to get permission. Fortunately, I have a Japanese contact in Tokyo who has been very efficient on the communication side of things.
25th - 30th of September.
Prices start from a Single, early bird (up until the 10th of June) NZD$1750. After the 10th of June, $1900 NZD.
We have rented the whole temple for our private group so you can fully immerse yourself in the ancient wisdom of yoga and mindfulness as you reconnect with your body, mind and spirit in this sacred place.
This will be an opportunity of a lifetime!

If you know anyone that would benefit from joining these retreats or weekly classes, please feel free to share, share and share. It all helps and is much appreciated.
See you soon, Namaste Julie.
This is one of my favorite quotes 🙂
“When you finally see how perfect everything is, you will throw your head back and laugh at the sky.”

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
