When it comes to good deeds, Hamish Daine certainly knows how to walk the talk, and in this case has let his money do the walking by helping school children into new shoes.
Daine, who was recently promoted to deputy mayor of the South Waikato district, said he was often looking for ways to support the Tokoroa and wider South Waikato communities and his most recent act of kindness saw him donate $1000 to help put shoes on the feet of 20 local students.
