Reliability of Polls

Marie from Waikanae

Can we really trust TVNZ to deliver a non biased opinion poll tonight? Clearly they have an inherent bias in favor of National.
Could this skew their ability to interpret the data? One insider tells us their political commentators are, quote "besotted with Christopher Luxon" and we think its regrettable that a public broadcaster is subject to such bias. We would like the results of today's opinion poll independently reviewed. No doubt they will also neglect to inform people that these polls always underestimate Labour's result and that they have a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.
Not that other media gets out of jail free either. RNZ described the Guardian poll as having National still ahead. National came in less than one point ahead of Labour on this poll. I say they are running neck and neck. Ive completely given up watching TV3, the snide comments from newsreaders are just so distasteful. Its disappointing that our media are neither independent nor reliable. And their biased reporting is an insult to thinking people. Looking forward to a long listen to the concert program come Sunday.

Missing Playgroup Slide

Kate Neighbourly Lead from Raumati Beach

Missing! Our playgroup slide! The slide belongs to the Kapiti Uniting Parish, Raumati Church at 10 Weka Road, Raumati Beach. The last time it went missing it was found at Weka Park. Have you seen it? Or if you have taken it by accident, can you please return it. The preschoolers missed it this morning. Thank you!
