Poll: What do you think of National's roading plans?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Leader Christopher Luxon was in Hamilton on Monday to announce a $1.3b cash injection for Waikato roads - as part of a national plan for investment in roads and infrastructure.

If elected, the party's plans include an extension of the Waikato Expressway from Cambridge to Piarere and money for the Southern Links Project.

What do you think?

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Have you been to Hamilton Gardens lately?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Hamilton will soon offer a portal to a medieval ‘hospital’, without the stress of the bubonic plague.

The Medieval Gardens will open next year at Hamilton Gardens, with much of the work already done.
