Pop-up hub for seniors
Join us for a cup of tea and light lunch at our free monthly pop-up hub for seniors in Seatoun, with four or five political party candidates as special guests this month. Each political candidate will be given a five-minute speaking slot to elaborate on their stance regarding senior-related issues.
Age Concern pop-up hubs are free monthly social events for over 65s around the Wellington Region. Call 04 499 6645 for more information, or just drop-in.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
