AWAPUNI VEGE HUB: Contents List - $15 an Order
AWAPUNI VEGE HUB $15 Orders
Hi there, below is the list of contents we anticipate being in this week's Vege Hub orders.
Last week, some of you might have noticed that the buckets were missing lettuces. Our volunteers were not delivered any lettuces to pack. There was a mishap in the system. We apologize. If you ordered last week, and are ordering again this week, we will put extra into your bucket to make up for the shortfall. I will include a note with your bucket letting you know what extra has been added.
Broccoli
Tomato
Carrots
Lettuce
Banana
Oranges
Avocado
Orders are $15 each. Instructions on how to pay/order can be found in the document attached, or go to: stmatthewspn.wordpress.com...
Orders need to be placed before Tuesday 12 noon ready for collection Thursday from your chosen pick up point. If you are not sure your transaction will be processed by the bank in time, feel free to email/msg us a screenshot.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
