"Songs of the Soul" by the Wellington Male Voice Choir
Sunday 30th October, 2:30pm at Queen Margaret College Hall, 53 Hobson St, Thorndon
This programme delves into some of the various things that nurture our souls: the connection with spirituality, love of country, being in nature, and interaction with various aspects of culture. We will also feature two other choirs in this concert: Kōkako from Wellington Young Voices and Voces Luce from Queen Margaret College. This fantastic programme will conclude with a rousing rendition of "Down by the Riverside" which features all three choirs and audience participation.
PS. We are also open to new members of the Choir!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
