Re-homing of Peacocks
HELP!!! I am looking to re-home some of our wild/yet very friendly peacocks. Over the years we have quietened down these wild peacocks and now have many of them eating our of our hands. But, they have increased in numbers over the last few years and one of our neighbours is complaining so we have to get the numbers down. I don't want to see them killed as they so soooooo lovely. I would dearly like to find new homes for them. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please let me know ASAP. We can catch them, and if their eyes are covered up (ie a sock!) they go totally quiet and can easily be transported. FREE TO A GOOD HOME!!!!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
