It's back! Our Combined Churches Community Nativity Play is on again in Karori Park on Christmas Eve at 6pm đŸ‘Œ

This is a free family gathering where we encourage the children to come dressed as a character in the Christmas story and share in the play. 🐑 We always aim to hold the event outside in front of the Karori Park CafĂ© but can move to St Ninians church if the weather is not good.

Bring your whanau, fish and chips, mats, or picnic chairs to sit on and enjoy the spirit of Community celebration in the park. Please wear your masks, scan the QR code and keep the distancing. See you all there!

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

Merry Christmas -

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
