Hikoi and Petition
Kia ora koutou
The Petition calling for action on social and affordable housing in Kapiti was signed by 447 people and we presented it to MP Terisa Ngobi yesterday, The hikoi was in rainless humid conditions and we were all hot and thirsty at the end of it! Thanks to everyone who signed the petition and for all the toots of support we got along Kapiti Road.
Attached is the cover letter we gave our MP. We believe a spark is well and truly alight now and that Council and Govt know that the ball is in their court on housing.
