Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival
Dear Neighbours,
Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is coming!
The 8th full moon of each Chinese lunar year is meaningful for Chinese people. It's a reunion time and a symbol of consummation. During the festival, eating mooncake is one of ceremonies.
This year, 21th of September is the festival day.
At the special time, we'd like to bless for all the people suffering to have a better future.
Mooncakes are on sale!
All are welcome, if you would like to visit one of our stores and give it a try:
123 Willis St, Te Aro, Wellington
3 Hillary Court, Naenae, Lower Hutt
All the best to you all!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
