Women's Multicultural Celebration Lunch - Postponed

Virginia Warren from BPW Franklin Inc

Once again Covid19 has forced the postponement of the Women's Multicultural Celebration Lunch which was to have taken place on Sept 18th 2021. The organisers have decided to hold it in March 2022 to connect with International Women's Day, i
We will confirm the new date as soon as it is all settled.
This event was fully sold out and there were a number of people waiting for cancellations. As a popular event for the women of our community, we anticipate it will remain so.
If you have tickets these are still valid, and we hope you will be happy to retain them. If you prefer to receive a refund, please contact bpwfranklin.tickets@gmail.com with your request and your name and bank account number. If tickets are refunded they will be on-sold, so please consider carefully before deciding to let your ticket go.
Here's hoping it will be third-time lucky !

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
