Firelighters

Emma Bradley from DC Rescue Dogs

The weather is cooling off a bit at nights, and soon we will be using our fireplaces again.

We have firelighters for sale - all proceeds go straight back to helping rescue more dog’s.

1 pack of 32 firelighters $1

1 box of 28 packs (that’s 896 firelighters) $10.

Some boxes look good, some boxes look a bit tatty but the actual product all looks perfect. Same product as you buy in the supermarket - just cheaper and helps us save puppies.

Pick up Taupiri/Gordonton, Hamilton, (Huntly, Morrinsville - by arrangement).

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
