Volunteers welcome

Rani Timoti from Helensville Citizens Advice Bureau

If you have time on your hands, want to feel valued and give something back to your local community, Citizen’s Advice Bureau Helensville is the place to be. We are always welcoming new volunteers. You’ll be trained, kept up-to-date and work with another volunteer supported by our manager. The work is endlessly varied and you always have the buzz of helping others. You don’t have to know everything yourself! CAB offices all tap into a powerful information base you will be trained to operate. So if you are a warm, empathetic person you’ll enjoy doing a weekly (two-and-a-half hour) shift in our friendly office in Helensville. Give us a call, it could be fun! Phone: 09 4207162 ask for the manager.

Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the Conversations column of your local paper.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
