Farmers Market in the Square this Sunday

Daffodil Festival is not on this weekend, but Carterton Farmers Market is. We're back in Memorial Square and weekly from this Sunday.

Plunket will be there selling big bunches of Middlerun daffodils as a fundraiser. And as well as some of our regular stallholders rejoining us after a winter break, there will also be a large assortment of other stallholders, including:

Elwin Farm with Jenny’s selection of vege seedlings in biodegradable paper pots for spring planting. There will also be a selection of locally grown vege seeds as well as Elwin Farm’s home-made soap and delicious organically produced free-range eggs.

Adrianne’s Crafts has hats, retro slippers, and other knitted items, as well as an assortment of handcrafted gifts and toys at affordable prices.

Wonderland Coffee 2020 is our new regular coffee provider. They sell coffee, hot chocolates, muffins, cakes, milkshakes, iced drinks, hot pies, sausage rolls, cold drinks, and more.

Glam Jams stall will be there with our no added sugar/ low carb collection. Preserves, pickles, sweet spreads, sauerkrauts and cordials. These are terrific for Keto diets and are Diabetic friendly too.

Choice Fruit Products. “Taking our lifelong passion (and our mum's) for delicious, flavoursome food and sharing it with you. All our products are packed full of flavour, are dairy-free, additive-free, preservative-free, suitable for vegans, low salt, low sugar, palm oil-free, and no MSG. We source and use local and organic produce for all our products wherever possible.“

Little Green Dunny make beautiful composting loos to hire, rent, or buy in Wairarapa. Come and have a look at a composting alternative to a portaloo.

Louisa Shannon will be there selling her roses, perennials, shrubs, hydrangeas, and buxus.

Holbrook Forest Garden will have on stall organic microgreens, veggie and flower seedlings, and succulents.

Lavender Abbey will be selling multi award-winning lavender oil, soap bars, liquid soap, sleep lotion, lavender bunches, balms and lotions, face serum, calming blends, floral water, massage oil, and eye pillows.

Tony Hamilton. “We sell craft from made from old silver cutlery, including wind chimes, coat hooks, rings, bracelets, ear-rings, and oil burners.“ They also sell an assortment of dreamcatchers and silver rings.

Maureen Millar will be there with her handcrafted children’s clothing at affordable prices.

Living Glass will be selling a range of leaded and stained glass creations.

Wairarapa has been home to internationally celebrated filmmakers, including Vincent Ward, Barry Barclay, Jemaine Clement, Ramai Haywood, Sir Peter Jackson, and James Cameron.

Its a wonderfully it's a rich festival and you'll discover the remarkable stories of our people and places, as the festival celebrates of local film, filmmakers and stories - past and present.
