Free bark/leaf mulch to pick up in Fairfield
I have had the arborists in doing a big trim of my trees this week (and removal of a couple). I asked them to leave the mulch for my garden. But turns out i got a lot more than expected. Have plenty to spare if anyone wants to come and pick some up soon. To protect and feed your soil you should give your gardens a good covering of mulch every season. This mulch is perfect for this. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
