2 metres might be bigger than you think!

The Team from Kāpiti Coast District Council

We all have to act like we have the virus to break the chain, so when you’re out on narrow tracks like the Waikanae River track, please give people passing by at least 2 metres of space. On bridges, take turns crossing as they are narrow spaces. Biking on narrow tracks next to walkers is not ideal, so consider changing your route to a road or wider track.

Overall Kāpiti, we’re all doing an incredible job and following safe practices, staying home and staying in our bubbles when we go out locally. Kia kaha. We’re all in this together.

This is what you can control, this is how you will save lives.
