Computer repairs and other tech help. Phn 027 271 9593

Jo & Matthew from

Hi there,
My name is Matthew Judge - I am self-employed and carry out computer repairs/builds/installations and a lot of other tech-related things (phones, tablets, TV’s etc). I started out doing this job when I became a stay-at-home dad when our son was born - two children and 20 years later and I still love what I do!

The services I can provide are:

Computer advice - any questions you have, give me a call and I'll help you out.

Computer troubleshooting and repair - I can have a quick look and determine what your problem might be. I can either let you know the next steps to take or make the repair for you. If your device is accidentally damaged beyond repair, I can make an assessment and provide you with a letter for your insurance company if needs be.

Computer sales and custom builds including setup and installation - if you do need a new computer, I can work out exactly what you need and track down the best option for your budget, and that quite often means building one from scratch. I can then transfer all of your data from your old computer to the new one and install any software you might need.

Anti-virus and backups - you most definitely should have these! I use free software for both and can set them up for you or advise on other options.

Email and internet connection troubleshooting and setup - has your email or your internet stopped working? It may be a connection problem or an issue with your settings - I can sort you out.

Home and small business wired and wireless networking - do you need to connect a device to your network from somewhere the signal doesn't reach? There are a lot of options that I can help you with.

Mobile phone and tablet setup and troubleshooting - sometimes these devices seem trickier than they actually are, and sometimes are trickier than they need to be - let me help you get it sorted.

Small business Microsoft Access database design - do you need a custom-designed (non-web based) program to keep track of your records, whether it's customers, club members, quotes, invoicing, inventory or stock checks, anything where there are a lot of records that have common data fields. Something that does all the calculations for you and can generate reports at the click of a button! Give me a call and I’ll see if I can help.

TV and AV equipment - I can help with advice, installation, and setup.

If you have any IT or electronic equipment related queries, get in touch and I’ll see if I can help (I’ve even been known to source and change home ventilation filters!), and if I can’t help, chances are that I know someone who can!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
