An Incident this morning on Point Chevalier Road
I just want to let our neighbours know that we were accosted on the street at 340 Point Chevalier road this morning.
We were doing our usual walk with our dogs when an elderly couple took exception to our social distancing.
The woman involved let us know that she did not think we gave her enough room to pass safely.
When we tried to reason with her she became very aggressive and the language that was used can not be repeated in this forum.
What I would like everyone to take away from this is that in this time rather than be aggressive and confrontational lets try to be kind and considerate. I know that they were were a lot of people out on the street at this time and there was no need for the level of response or the language use.
I have lived in Point Chevalier for over 30 years and this is the first time that I have ever been spoken to like this and it was heart breaking to have to experience.
Please just BE KIND to each other and we will get through this.
