Wellington Curtain Bank - opens for 2020
It's that time again, time to welcome the Wellington Curtain Bank crew for another epic year of providing free curtains to families in need.
Every year Sustainability Trust get's a massive spike in orders right in the middle of winter.
As the curtains take up to 6 weeks to make, there are families spending most of the winter freezing while they wait for their curtains to arrive.
This year, they are asking for your help. If you know of community space (ie library, school, pre-school) where you could put up posters and/or place some order forms they would love to hear from you. Please email di@sustaintrust.org.nz
If you, or someone you know, would like to order curtains - you can do so here: sustaintrust.org.nz...

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
