Water gushing down Normandale Road gutter.
I rang in this problem [one of many residents who did] about a good flow of water gushing down Normandale Road gutter, for well on 3 weeks now....Someone from Wellington Water rang me back, to say that it will take about 3 weeks to fix the broken pipes on the roadside, and added they are a bit buzy at the moment......REALLY, and here's me being so careful NOT to waste water.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
