Smaller hospital in works for Dunedin, but price tag remains the same
A leading architecture firm will design Dunedin's new hospital, which will be smaller than first thought, Health Minister Dr David Clark says.
Warren and Mahoney, which has its headquarters in Christchurch, was confirmed as the lead architects on the $1.4 billion rebuild.
A final decision on the project will be made early next year. Clark signalled the new hospital would be bigger than the current one, but "smaller than was first thought".
