Bishopdale Village Green - Ideas Sought
Do you have an idea for the new village green at the end of Bishopdale Mall?
This artist's impression shows how it could look after the planned projects have been finished. The green has a path, flowering cherry trees, and seating. The wall behind it has a full mural, panels created by local school children and a selfie stand in front of a large colourful kea.
What addition features do you think could enhance it? If you have an idea write it on the back of the flyers available at the green and in the library or email bishgreen05@gmail.com before 30 November.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
