Help Needed for Raewyn's Cat/Kitten Work She Does Voluntarily

Sheralee from Te Atatu Peninsula

Hi Folks: Raewyn is really needing help with kitten food, litter and towels/face clothes etc if some people can help out, please. She is over-run with the kitten season and doing a tremendous job working often up to 10 pm and all over West Auckland. I am coordinating this with Raewyn. Literally, 1 can of kitten food is really going to help out - that is how much in need she is.
And kitten season is here right now.

Raewyn does evening feeding of cats/kittens abandoned in the community at 5 pm every day. On top of that, she catches if she can the cats (some quite sick), and kittens. She gets them neutered or spaded and the sick ones get attendance at the vet. Unfortunately, some are too far with an illness and go to the vet for follow up.

These are the following ways to help her out below:

1. Drop kitten food/litter etc off to her place, 27 Rewarewa Place. Slide the gate to open and her house is at the back and to leave on the doorstep if she is not home.

2. Drop off to my place, 74a Kervil Avenue. There is a blue container outside my gate and Raewyn will pick it up. I am down a long driveway.

You can message me if you need directions. Please help her out if able - thank you. Sheralee

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
