VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SEW BLANKETS FOR COLD KIDS
Locals helping locals.
It's mid winter and we have heaps of children suffering from the cold....come join us to help them.
We hand sew beautiful blankets to help our local kids in need.
last year we made approx 100 blankets!
Just pop in with friends, or become a regular part of our lovely group for the year.
No experience needed.
We have all the equipment.
All hand stitching
6.30 to 8.30pm
Every Thursday.
Mt Albert YMCA

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
