Adult Leaders – WE NEED YOU!
Scouting is already having a fantastic impact on the young people we are reaching, but we want to bring the benefits to even more. By volunteering with SCOUTS, you will help us to bring fun, challenge and adventure to all young kiwis, wherever they are – plus, you’ll get on-the-job, real world professional development that you can take into other areas of your life. A study found that over 90% of our volunteers believe that the skills and experiences they have gained through Scouting have been relevant to their working or personal lives.
If you are interested in becoming an adult leader or a valued committee member please email martonscouts@gmail.com

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
