As Christian churches in Wellington we express our care and support for the Muslim communities in Christchurch who have suffered a terrible attack on their people and on their safety.
We commit to the peaceful coexistence of all faith communities in New Zealand, and concern for all who face hostility and prejudice.
We encourage Christians to actively seek out Muslim neighbours to express their support and reassure them of concern for their welfare.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
