Planes, Trains and Automobiles...

Jane Fisher from Newtown Toastmasters

It was another enjoyable Wednesday night at Newtown Community Centre, with Travel a common theme - a plane, a train, a scooter, a bike and a spaceship during Table Topics; "Life Hacks" for more comfortable flights; and the pros and cons of "cyber-travel". Later, we heard from the namesake of a former British Prime Minister - about none other than Brexit!

We also welcomed Masae to the Committee as Treasurer. We're looking forward to working with you, Masae :)

Next up, it's our Open Meeting for World NGO Day - with a guest speaker! Same time, same place, Wednesday 27 February. Bring your friends, family, neighbours and anyone else who'd like to see what Toastmasters is all about.
