Riwaka/Brooklyn Gym Club

Vicki from Motueka

Just putting it out there......
As the world continues to revolve and changes are made Riwaka/Brooklyn Gym Club, have found themselves with a coach and considerable membership.
The committee and support is difficult with everyone being so busy. So:

Suggestion is to make some changes, and join a larger sporting body who has an administration system to handle the Clubs membership.
Need some support for this concept and possibility. - Feedback please.

To advertise the possiblity of a change I would like to source any historical photographs, snapshots or information about the club. Run a spot the local competition form their day within the Club. Thus sparking some interest and information sharing about the clubs 48 year history.

See Club website or FB page to send messages through.

Kind regards,

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
