Waikato Potters Open Day Saturday 22 September

Waikato Society of Potters

Waikato Society of Potters, Ward Park Art Centre, 2 Seddon Road, Hamilton. Easy, free parking.

The Waikato Society of Potters are putting on an open day for the whole family! This is a chance for you to come down to the studios and see what we do. We will have a range of clay-related family-friendly activities on offer during the day, such as:

Decorate a pot with a raku glaze and see it fired before your eyes.
Have a go on a potter’s wheel.
Demonstration of throwing pots on the wheel.
Slippery Dip for the kids.
Squish, squash, shape and bang.
Cake Stall & Refreshments.
Pottery class information.

Our neighbours, the Men's Shed, are also putting on activities and a BBQ. So come and see the 'blokes in action' - they are always looking for new blood!

See you there, and have a look at our website in the meantime: www.waikatopotters.co.nz...

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
