inorganic rubbish collection (or lack of)
Anyone else get missed? Apparently so in Willcott street Mt.Albert. My next door neighbours also got left out.Siosi from the council told me it had been put down as 'collected' - further into the conversation he tells me they have a photo of my inorganic rubbish. Wouldn't give me any information that I requested, kept saying "there is a process'' Won't even say who the contractors involved are. After questioning the lack of transparency of the council Siosi kept telling me how transparent the council is.Tells me 10 days to investigate, four weeks to resolve.I ask Siosi who the people involved are (to speed up the process) he tells me "that's secret' Not one single question would they answer. Anyone from the council reading this ???? Apparently Wendell Wild is the next step up. Be interesting to see what the council say tomorrow. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
