Help improve native wildlife with a free rat trap
We are giving away rat/ mouse traps in wooden protective tunnels for any residents in Mt Cook, Newtown or Berhampore who are prepared to regularly bait, check, clear and report any catches.
With enough support across the neighbourhood, we will be able to improve the habitat for native birds, insects and lizards, and help bring back the dawn chorus.
If you are interested - follow the link through to our facebook page and get in contact, or send an email at predatorfreemcn@gmail.com
If you are outside these suburbs - there is a group near you. If you can't locate them, contact us and we can put you in touch or go to the predator free Wellington website (www.pfw.org.nz...)
Poll: Does the building consent process need to change?
We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.
