Do you support the Labour Government's double whammy fuel tax for Aucklanders to tackle congestion and the road toll?

The Government is proposing a fuel tax increase across the country of between 9 and 12 cents a litre in order to fund rapid rail and bring down road deaths. Aucklanders are also in line for another 10 cent a litre increase to help sort out the city's traffic problems. This would mean an increase of up to 22 cents on the price of a litre of petrol. Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
