Public Talk - St Francis of Assisi
Susan Kirkham will be presenting on the life and times of 'St Francis of Assisi' on Tuesday 27 March 2018 at 7.30pm at the Theosophical Society Hall (downstairs) on 19 Marion St, Te Aro, Wellington 6011.
St. Francis of Assisi abandoned a life of luxury for a life devoted to Christianity after reportedly hearing the voice of God, who commanded him to rebuild the Christian church and live in poverty. He is the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Join us for an evening of learning about a great soul whose teachings are still relevant today. Stay on for a cup of tea and a chat with like-minded enquirers.
