My Resene Upcycling Award entry
Repurposed an old drawer (which my neighbour was discarding in inorganic rubbish collection) to make a spice rack. The drawer was cleaned and coated in resene white paint. I used masking tape to paint the bright yellow chevron pattern and decoupaged owls and the scrap book paper on the side. The jars are repurposed pickled jalapeño jars and Ching’s Schezwan sauce jars from the supermarket.
