Free programme for people affected by cancer
If you or a loved one are coming to grips with a cancer diagnosis, the Cancer Society is here to help. Register now for our free Living Well programme in Hamilton, which offers practical ways of living well throughout your cancer journey.
The two-day programme on 22 February and 1 March looks at understanding cancer, managing side effects of treatment, and building self-confidence and self-help skills.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
