Thames mobility vehicle handed over to St John
The Thames Mobility Vehicle will now be run by St John Thames after an official handover on December 20.
The service was established in 1990 by a committee of people in the community who saw a need for the vehicle.
It was replaced in 2010 with the current van, which accommodates six passengers and two wheelchairs

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
