The Karangahake Hall and Domains Committee is undertaking a survey of local residents to solicit ideas on how to develop the use of the reserves in our area.
The aim of the survey is to capture feedback from local residents that can be shared with the Hauraki District Council as part of their reserve management consultation process.
The survey results will also provide a guide to the Domains committee on what the local community are wanting to see happen with these reserves.
SURVEY QUESTIONS
Q1. Are you a Mackaytown or Karangahake resident?
Q2. Would you support the development of a permanent carpark at the Karangahake Reserve?
Q3. Would you support the development of a permanent carpark at the Mackaytown Reserve?
Q4. Would you like to see the Karangahake Reserve developed for other uses?
Q5. Would you like to see the Mackaytown Reserve developed for other uses?

If you support the development of the reserves, please choose from the ideas listed below (you can choose more than one)

• A Community Garden
• Improved access to the domain
• A Community playground
• Used for Community Events
• Planting of native and fruit trees to attract the birds.
• Community tennis court

SURVEY DATES
You will have until the end of June 2021 to participate in this survey. The preliminary results will be shared at the Karangahake Hall AGM on Sunday on June 20th 2021.
