Summer is here - time to think about water conservation

Maxine Clayton from Watercare

There is no problem with Auckland's water supply but it's still time to think about reducing the amount of water we use ... and waste.
Don't let your garden hose go wild in the garden.
Switch off your tap whilst brushing your teeth and you can save 4 litres of water!
Rural residents- please check your tank levels and order water well in advance.
Bach owners- please leave  information about water conservation measures in bathrooms and kitchens for your tenants.
Watercare customers can receive a free personalized audit service- just give us a ring to book a time and someone will visit your home and assess your water consumption before giving you ideas on how to make savings.
