Tomorrow morning at 8:30am in the carpark of The Salvation Army Rangiora Family store at 15 Albert street, there will be a Garage Sale to raise funds for women and young girls in Sri Lanka that have been traffick and abused! Please come and support our efforts and get a bargain, and including a $2 sausage sizzle!!!!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
