Magical park 2 at Onepoto Domain!

The Magical Park 2 augmented adventure game is on at Onepoto Domain, and the Halloween theme is only available until 5 November.
Themes include:
* Halloween (ends soon!)
* Robotica – kids need to help robots who have lost their heads.
* Augmentia – a fantasy land filled with fairies, kittens and dragons.
* Prehistoria – transports kids back in time to interact with prehistoric playmates and collect lost dinosaur eggs.
* Christmas (from 1 December).

Download the Magical Park app and head to Onepoto Domain to play an augmented reality game on your phone, iPad or other device!
Walk around the designated area and interact with characters on your screen!
Who: Aimed at children aged 6-11, but everyone should try it!
When: On now until 21 December.
Where: Onepoto Domain, in the open grass area to the west of the hall and north of the lake (Also available in other parks around Auckland).

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
