Recent crime in Milan Rd Papatoetoe. Four or five weeks ago noticed youths riding up and down our street on their bikes, from previous posts on Neighbourly I was aware that they might be the look outs for future hits. Well done Neighbourly for alerting us about these youths on bikes because now Milan Rd has been hit. It seems they are after Trailers or Boats this time. Please be alert Milan Rd and call Police if you see anything untoward happening at your neighbours place and if possible take photos on your phone but remember to keep yourself safe at all times

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
