Is this Auckland's worst bus stop?
Bus stop 4747 on Stanmore Bay Rd has got to be in the running for Auckland's worst bus stop.
There's nowhere to stand apart from a steep bank on the verge, and on rubbish day you get to share it with refuse.
If the bus stops too close to the curb in winter passengers step off into the mud and have been known to slip over.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
