Street Walkers

Michael from Manurewa

Now i am only talking of Manurewa here as i don't live nor do i patrol hunters plaza.
Street walkers at night in Manurewa, While most are polite and are in certain areas that they stick to, Recently there have been a couple that walk around the town looking for clients. I saw one this morning that so called just wanted a ride down the road and after telling him/her that my insurance doesn't cover other than my team he/she got really abusive and started the threats and nasty fowl repulsive remarks that were aimed at myself and a homeless woman who asked he/she to go away. when i got out of my patrol wagon he/she then started trying to wave down police to get me to leave the area outside the 24 hr store. (lol I patrol GSR every night to this sort of drama)
This has also happened to others who have been coming out of the bars and club in the early hours of the mornings. While Prostitutes are just folk like you and me no one has the right to get nasty and fowl in a public place. Freedom of speech even has its limits and when one uses threats and vulgar torments to another then that is against the law.

Or is it

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
