Seal drops in to sunbathe and play at Whitianga beach
Whitianga beach-goers welcomed a new resident at Buffalo Beach on June 29.
A seal was seen sunbathing on the rocks for the day before swimming back out to sea.
Monique Rush said the seal had a rest on the rocks all day, keeping an eye on all its visitors on the busy beach.
