Who am I?
The more you know about each other's inner world, the more profound and rewarding your marriage will be.
Dr. Gottman created an exercise titled "Who am I?" to guide couples through self-exploration and to help them share this exploration with each other.
Questions include:
What has happened in your life that you are particularly proud of?
How was affection expressed in your family?
What would you most like to change about yourself?
There's always more to know about each other. Sharing your inner self with your partner is an ongoing process.
In fact, it's a lifelong process.
