Waikato Unicol AFC - invitation to all players >15 yrs old to play football in Hillcrest

Waikato Unicol AFC is a senior football club based at the University in Hillcrest and is open to the community, not just students. Senior players, including high school students, are recommended to come along and trial for their local Club.

PRESEASON TRAINING
Mens: Thursday nights from 6pm (start date TBC)
Womens: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm - starts 2nd February

Location: Waikato University Sports Fields, parking at Gate 3a (parking is free at this time of the evening)

Thursday 2 March 6:00pm
Sunday 5 March 4.30pm
D Div/Sunday League Trials
Wednesday 8 March 6:00pm
Womens Trials
No formal trials - squads will be selected from trainings, which start on Thursday 2nd February.
Mens Vets Trials
No trials

New Player         $250.00
New Player (paid by May 1st) $200.00
Returning Player         $200.00
Returning Player (paid by May 1st)   $180.00
Secondary School         $60.00*
* There are $60 fee rebates for the first nine competitive high school players to register with Unicol subject to the completion of a full season in competitive teams (top two Women’s teams or top four Men’s teams)

Have you heard about this Hamilton petition?

A group of Hamilton business owners have started a petition to stop the council from hiking up rates and passing the cost of what they say are unpopular projects on to residents.

It frustrates longtime residents Tom Andrews, a former roading engineer who owns Classics Museum and has property interests and Jo Reeder, to see Hamiltonians facing large bills.
