Black Friendly Cat

John from Marybank

This cat has been hanging around our house all day and night now for about the last 3 months. I am almost 100% certain she is just a lost cat as she is very friendly, and doesnt scratch or bite. She is just becoming a nuisance at our property now, always coming inside to steal our two cats food, and now she is also shooing them off the property when they go outside, so we are wanting to look for a good home for her.

She would suit a house that probably doesn't already have a cat. She is just so friendly all she wants is food and a companion and she will be your best friend. I'm not sure her age, just guessing she could between 4 and 8, she looks really healthy and in good condition, we think she is desexed.

If you would like to give her a good home or you know anyone, she really would make a great pet. Otherwise will have to take her to the SPCA

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
